How is working from home going? We thought we should write our next blog on this subject to share our experiences and see if people have any other tips they can share with us?
First of all, make sure there are plenty of tea bags in the cupboard, milk in the fridge and biscuits in the tin!
The most important thing we have found is routine, making sure you have a routine you stick to can help you switch on and be in the right frame of mind at the right times of the day. However, take plenty of breaks and try to keep each day different and unique by introducing new break activities. If you do the same thing each day then your days will become very monotonous very soon.
The next key we found was to have a designated working area, away from distractions, this way you can keep a boundary between your working day and then your own time still.
Make sure you stay connected, it can be easy to go a day or two without speaking with anybody so make sure you take advantage of all of the fantastic social apps that are available now to stay in touch with work colleagues, family and friends.
Try to look at the positives, take advantage of your daily exercise to get fit – really fit. This might be the best chance you get to dedicate time everyday to getting fit, whether that’s just a walk, run or following one of the many great fitness classes that are available such as Joe Wicks: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCAxW1XT0iEJo0TYlRfn6rYQ
